It is with pride and excitement that the Darling Wildflower Society (DWFS) wishes to announce the planning of yet another Darling Wildflower Show over the period 20 to 22 September 2024.

The show will be presented at the Darling Club where ample secure parking will give visitors easy access to the wildflower displays and an extensive market area with a wide variety of food, liquid refreshments, and products to buy.

Apart from the activities at the Darling Club, Darling Tourism will be running a Shuttle bus service around the village during the Show weekend as there is a lot to see and do in the area at this time. Darling also has a some very good restaurants, excellent wine shop, vineyards and wine and olive tasting venues, a very popular butcher, craft brewery, sweet shop, Evita se Perron, and a very good museum amongst other attractions!

All the reserves are worth a visit during this period and most of them are suitable for seniors on short, relatively flat comfortable walks. Please note that the reserves are not accessible to buses but there is parking immediately outside the entrances on the road. Best time for viewing is from 11h00 to 15h00 when there is enough light and warmth – the flowers start to close later in the day. Try and choose a sunny day. There are no entrance fees at the reserves!
